Summer is here and it doesn’t really feel like it. Outside and in my inside world…
It’s getting a bit quiet over here, but as the seasons change, I need change, too.
I shared that I have been living through crazy 6 months now and life is still a battle for me here and then. I showed up, did my job, and especially during mental health awareness month, I cannot shut my mouth: I was with you…
But for June, I told myself to calm down again, staying more offline to connect with myself and my healing. I want to enjoy my hot girl summer vibing and not suffering, so I need to do lots of offline exercises.
It feels good to disconnect, but I also miss connecting with you. I know many of you are thriving out there and I am proud of you, but there are even more people out there who suffer. Some even do all of this in silence, being the best people pleaser, because they don’t want anyone to notice.
However you are feeling today, I want to send you love and a big hug. We are all in this together.
I spend so many days now with reading myself through all sorts of self-help, religious, and wellness books, gathering info, inspiration, and ideas not only for my healing journey, but yours.
Great news, there is SO MUCH we can do.
Yes, it’s all connected to lots of effort, energy, and motivation, but we got this. We can do this. Why? Because the progress is the goal, don’t think about the sweet, golden, glittery other side. We start this journey and the path we are walking will be already so rewarding. Tiny baby steps, day by day.
Today we will start with a new worksheet. It’s free, of course.
The tree of life.
I found this somewhere on Pinterest and I loved it. Super simple, yet so helpful, and eye-opening!
Learn about your essence, who you are, where you want to go, and who you want to be. What do you want to leave behind?
It’s a painting exercise, yes, but if you feel super lazy, feel free to just take notes. Maybe you could also meditate on this, thinking about your tree, how it looks, how it dances in the wind, how strong and empowering it is fighting through the storms, standing still, being one with nature.
This is such a great beginning to get to know you better. Your strengths, your beliefs, your real self. Connecting deeper to practice more compassion and self-love.
Leaders buckle up.
Let’s go.
